The venerable CitizenWatch Co. from Japan acquired yesterday the Switzerland based Prothor Holding from La Chaux-de-Fonds.Prothor Holding controls the Swiss mechanical movements specialist manufacturer La Joux-Perret from La Chaux-de-Fonds and the watch brand Arnold & Son.La Joux Perret manufactures some 50,000 highly sophisticated and decorated movements every year. I¡¯ve been browsing these forums for weeks and I¡¯m finally ready to purchase a Tudor Heritage Black Bay. The AD near me has both ETA versions and the in house available. I¡¯m not going to ask which is better I like both. I¡¯m worried if I get the ETA I¡¯ll be disappointed I didn¡¯t get the newest version but at the same time I enjoy some of the aesthetics of the ETA and yet I do enjoy having the latest tech. How should I decide?
