Omega ST 145.020 wrist watches news:
There's been a moon phase on the Saxonia watch by A. Lange & S?hne since 1994. This year, the German brand is adding a big date to the collection's starry display. It's a first! As the Saxony watchmaker's 16th movement to feature the moon phase, the self-winding L086.5 calibre takes centre stage for its precision and finish. Once it's been set properly, the display will only differ from the actual position of the Moon by one day every 122.6 years if the watch works non-stop thus providing a 99.998% accurate reproduction of the lunar cycles. A comfortable 70-hour power reserve allows the wearer to gaze at the disc as it rotates its 852 stars and the gold hands gliding over the solid silver dial. The performance takes place in a 40mm white or rose gold case. The watch also has a stop seconds mechanism for accurate time-setting. Price: 28,500 €. Dan Diaconu
Hello everyone,I'm a newbie and I'd like to ask for an advice regarding a Seamaster watch I might buy on Ebay. There seems to be a missing pin in the movement (in the bottom of the picture). Is it a real problem? Or shall the watch work without it (and for how long)? And would it be hard to find a replacement one?I thank you in advanceBest regards,Raoula

Hi! I have automatics/chronometers De Ville co-axial GMT and automatic De Ville dress watch. I alternate these watches with my other automatic watches and thus have to resort to hand winding them at times just to keep their movements going. My question, how many turns is permissible so that I don't get to over wind these watches. I've heard that over winding damages the movement. Thanks in advance for the info that I will get.Joaquinick
