Oris 752-7698-4164TS wrist watches news:
While perusing the wares of the brand new Blancpain boutique on Fifth Avenue a few weeks back, I stumbled across this guy here. It's called the VIlleret Tourbillon Squelette 8-Day, and while it was announced at BaselWorld 2014, there wasn't a lot of attention given to it ¨C most was offered to the awesome new in-house chronograph movement seen in the Bathyscaphe Chronograph. But this new tourbillon has a lot going for it. 2 OF 3 First, it employs Blancpain's excellent in-house 8-day self-winding tourbillon caliber 25, which is quite thin at 4.85mm in thickness. That's not only thin for a tourbillon, it's also very thin for a tourbillon with an 8-day power reserve. Second, the case is an absolutely perfect 37.5mm in diameter. Yes, that's 37.5mm and nobody is calling it a lady's watch. This is the size a watch like this should be. Second, this tourbillon offers a date function, and power reserve on the semi-skeletonized dial. 3 OF 3 It is indeed the dial here t
I have a GMT cal.1128 that is 14 months old and has started to loose 6-7 seconds a day. I'd like to send it to get it regulated (recommendations on where appreciated) but it occured to me to regulate it myself. My understanding is that one notch on the regulating screw is 5 seconds. What do you think, DIY or get it checked out?
Well I wanted a good dress watchSomething classy, with a nice clean look, but not too flashy. This WTF Limited Edition Edouard Lauzi¨¨res Park Avenue automatic watch REALLY fits the bill!! My 1st impression upon opening the box was, it's perfect for me...The quality is excellent! The rotor on the movement moves with the sliest movement of my wrist, & spins very smoothly...It reminds me of the v7750bottom line is, this is a very well built classy watch. Thanks to everyone responsible for making this FINE forum watch happen at a GREAT PriceI am very pleased with this fine watch...Here are some quick shots of the WTF forum watch LE #16/30....
Does anyone have any expeience/opinions regarding Marathon GSAR Watches?
Just recently acquired my first AP... the 26401 ROO 44 mm in rose gold. Having a bit of a difficult time figuring out with what I can wear this watch. I'd like to wear it all the time for the next several months and be able to show it off. I realize it's more of a sports watch... but it's so blingy... would it be acceptable to wear with a sports jacket or how about even a tuxedo? Anyway I want to wear it everywhere... so having a bit of a dilemma...
