Driving the specially prepared Luminox Watch Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car, Jeff Zwart won the 2WD Time Attack class and set a new class record in the 88th running of the Pikes Peak Hillclimb on June 27. Zwart, now a seven-time Pikes Peak class winner, not only broke Rhys Millen?’s 2009 class record by 38 seconds (after smashing his qualifying record by 18 seconds), but went faster than all but five cars in the entire field, including 3 Unlimited Class and 2 Open Wheels cars, all with 600-plus horsepower. His 911 GT3 Cup car also beat all the production-based race car entries, both 2WD and 4WD. Nobulhiro Tajima, from Japan, won the hillclimb overall in an Unlimited Class eight-cylinder, turbocharged Suzuki 4WD one-off race car.Zwart expressed amazement that his normally-aspirated car didn?’t lose horsepower from the 9,000-foot-elevation start and the 14,000-foot finish line. A combination of the 450-hp, 3.8-liter Porsche Cup car engine and expert engine map adjustments from

I have been looking for a vintage Omega and Zenith watch for a while. They are out there but usually very unreasonable in cost or if on EBay the bidding wars start and ends up to be unreasonable and not a good deal at all. I like to find watches that needs some cleanup and that I can pick-up for a good price. The Omega was a good deal got lucky on EBay. It needed some cleaning on the case, movement, and crystal was working fine. The cleanup came out well and I found a Omega band which the watch did not come with. The year on this Omega is 1970-1972The Zenith I got lucky on. It needed very little cleanup and the movement was very clean. It did need a band and I put on a nice black leather one. Not really sure on the exact year I think it's between the late 1940's to early 1950's.Now I need a new goal to find a vintage watch. Any suggestions will be welcomed.

I thought I had the perfect SS trio:116500 white116610 LV116710 BLNRBut I found a one owner 16610LV with box/papers in mint condition and it kept calling my name. Years ago I owned a 16610Ln and it never really sang to me. But the LV with the Maxi dial really looks amazing. Also years later and having owned many many 6-digit references the simplicity of the 5-digit really is refreshing. I think my Hulk may have some competition with its new brother.
