Patek Philippe 5104P wrist watches news:
I have been having dreams about this watch for a LONG time.So I finally call Stan..."Dude, you have to make me a Elgin Pershing with an off center crown!"Well, look what just arrived!1918 DialStan Wrist:My Hairy Wrist Shot:A fantastic job StanTHANKS!
Hi guys, I was playing poker at a home game last night, and I see a guy decked out in Florida Gator stuff (I live in Florida) and after we sit down for a second I take a look at his watch and I stare and stare and stare and I thought I could see "Breitling" and finally I asked him and he said yes it was a breitling and he showed it to me a little closer, but i have neeeever seen a breitling like this...not only did the dial look totally different than any watch ive ever seen, the whole dial/bezel was orange and blue, and the band was orange rubber with stainless steel inserts every inch or so??? anyone ever seen anything like this? he says he bought it from a neiman marcus in Orlando....there was also a guy with a solid gold cartier roadster, verry nice
I wouldn't call myself a flipper by any stretch, but I do sell off watches from time to time. Most recently, my issue has been size and weight. I've tried some of the larger, newer and heavier offerings from several companies and decided - for me at least - bigger is not better.I have sold my Seiko 6R15 Sumo, which is a wonderful, wonderful timepiece with incredible fit and finish. The best dive watch in the $500 range. I loved it - killer lume, stunning attention to detail. But alas after a year I found the 45 mm was simply too big for my 6.75 inch wrist.I just sold a Valjoux 7750 chrono - about 12 mm deep - because it was too thick. I recently parted with three other pieces that were in my regular rotation, but ultimately didn't float my boat. What pushes you into selling?
