Patek Philippe 3700/11 wrist watches news:
So, I'm trying to find a watch box for my watches. I've looked (on the web) at what tech-swiss carriesbut the boxes really don't look like what I want, nor have the capacity.I'm looking for something that can:1) mount on the wall (limited counter space)2) support a number of watches - let's just indicate that number to be somewhere between 1 and 40 or so. I don't have 40 watchesbut I do have more than, say, 5.The best I've come up with is a hybrid approach - purchase a ready-made shadow box, and make oak shelves (Home Depot sells oak planks in about the right thickness) installed at a slight angle. I'd then need to flock the interior compartments, and create little pillowsseems like a lot of work, but I'm up to it.Any thoughts? Thanks,John
Hi there,After quite some time, I figured it was time to wear the Breitling Navitimer!Kind regards,Cinq
Let me preface my question by saying, like all of you I absolutely love watches. I am also 26. I don't have a lot of extra money but whenever I do I save it to purchase the next watch. I have built a nice little collection through the years. I have always wanted a Patek but have never been able to pull it off. I started really trying to figure out how to get one recently because I am obsessed with Pateks! I think I may have figure out how to get one with some trades and cash. Having said all of that, here is my question:Keeping in my that I am looking for the absolute best value, is it better to buy a new Nautilus 5711-1A, white. Or is it a better value to get a used one? I'm asking because I know that the price of Pateks just go up. So is waiting for a pre owned one in hopes of saving some money smart or will they just end up costing more as time goes on?Thanks for all of the advice in advance. And, if any of you have any 5711-1As, Aquanauts, 5035s or travel times that you are lookin
I am having the serious itch to flip....and it's been going on for awhile.....but i need your help and expertise to weigh out all the pros and cons, as I have never flipped any of my watches ever.I have a 116610LN (SUB-SS/C)...and the watch that has caught my eye is a Panerai 389. Both are about the same age, in virtually the same condition....the offer I have on hand is the Panerai 389 for the SS/SubC + 700 dollars from my end. I'm wondering if this is a good and a fair deal? I feel like my judgement might be clouded by the itch to flip. My thoughts are that the PAM 389 will hold it's value a lot less over the long run, a sub is always a classic, however, I have the 116713LN, 116613LB and the 116520 and will hopefully be getting the 116550 (new daytona)...so I am a bit Rolex heavy. Additionally I also have a Chopard GMT Mille Miglia and the Chopard LUC Sport 2000, I dont want to flip any of the Chopards. Absolutely adore them.I love the ceramic bezel on the PAM 389, it's also a dive w
