- Love this watch. I have received more compliments on this watch than any other I've owned. It's comfortable and classy with a little Wow being more on the flashy side.

- Already had a WaveCepter with (black) plastic band. Bought this for more stylish occasions.

- Great tide feature with easy to read 'front page' but it's sooo complicated to set up, and not intuative to re-set without the instructions. Too heavy to wear in the surf so the excellent heat countdown timer will go unused, shame.

Patek Philippe 2453 wrist watches news:
Hey Kevin, I take it the rotowind mechanism is cheaper than the typical motor and also take less to power it. Is there any talk of putting the rotowinds into a 3, 4 or 6 watch winder?John
Well, after some deliberating I decided to pull the trigger on a Grande Vitesse and I couldn't be happier with the decision I love the overall feel of this watch and like that the choclate covered dial gives it a little uniqueness. The best part of all was that my plan was to purchase this watch now and give it to my wife so she could hold on to it and give it to me on a later date (birthday, anniversary, or something like that). Instead, my wonderfully understanding, patient and amazing wife, who actually supports this crazy hobby of mine, told me to wear it now and that perhaps there would be another watch in my near future! Gotta love herSo, without further ado...
I have a Bulova Accutron Quartz, Swiss 7419. What is it? It is sooooo small???
Has anyone had a pleasurable experience with Watchfinder? I ask only because my previous experience wasn't so, however the current selection of AP's they have is one of the best i've seen it with them. If any of you get chance its well worth a look!! GP's, legacy, concept, survivor and much more.
There is no question that Patek Philippe has been tremendously successful with their branding. The Patek branding machine is second to only Rolex for watch manufacturers IMHO.I am curious to find out how us WIS view the Patek marketing campaign. I am specifically interested in your opinion of the magazine ads depicting a rather aristocratic appearing father and son in a B&W photo with the famous tag line You never actually own a Patek....What is your gut level reaction to these ads? Do you like them?
