Seiko SKA371 Diver bracelet removal
I just received this new watch today and I am curious how to remove the bracelet. There is no access for spring bars and from the outside of the lugs, it almost looks like allen screw heads. If it is they are smaller than any allen wrenches that I have (and I have down to 1.5mm). Here is the best picture of the lugs that I can find.Thanks

I watched a great program I had recorded from HDNet on Baselworld and independent watchmakers - those few artists who make every component by hand. A fantastic show.Well, I was impressed with the love and care that is put into these watches. And then I thought about the similar sort of care and direction that a family run business would have over a product. Yesterday someone posted something about Bvlgari buying up small companies with rich traditions. It seems sort of gross to me. I know that most companies are 'groups' of several corporations. And I know that most companies use ETA and other shared components and cases and stuff.So, there are two ideas that are becoming more important to me: In-house movements and family ownership or control inside a corporation. I just like the personal touch and direction of that vs the impersonal raisin-counting and bottom-line thinking that dominates most corporations who might be more apt to stick a finger in the air to see what way the

What should my budget be for next watch
Hello All,Sorry for asking this silly question, but I would really like to hear your opinions.Has anyone worked out a formula as to how much you should spend on a watch? I am sure you have to consider salary, job security, expenses, savings, when was the last time you bought one and when will be next time I plan to buy one, and ultimately how much you love the watch you are considering...right?I have been gifted my first 2 watches, and I am finally financially ready to buy my first...but with the wife, mortgage, and baby...I feel bad spending even 1% of my net worth on one.Someone please help me out with any advice or formula's you've worked out, thanks in advance.

Confused upon which AP to buy.
I have decided to get an AP for my birthday but am not sure which one to get between the two I have chosen. These are the two I have chosen. My dilemma is I like the look of the first one but it only comes in Quartz whereas I really want an Automatic which only comes in the second one. Help!
