- Hott watch - This watch rules. I did have a few panels fall out in a week though, but quickly replaced and no blems since. So good looking that I also got the white one and get lots of compliments on them...cool watch.

Perrelet A3014/4 wrist watches news:
This watch comes with a great back story. A tale of a man they called crazy. A tale of a man, who probably is crazy, but we can all love him for that. It all started with Romain Jerome and their previous 'lord & ruler,' Yvan Arpa. The watch community generally has the perception that Yvan Arpa is a bit of aneccentric. One who creates ideas that are pretty wild. Half the time the ideas work, the other times, they most surely don't. One example of a failed idea was an all rusted watch (on the outside) enclosed in a hermetically sealed glass case. The idea was that once the glass was broken, the watch inside was guaranteed to work. To make a long story short, once some wild and wealthy people bought and subsequently broke the glass, the watch did not work at all - having been totally rusted through.Other ideas do work, such as Yvan's Titanic DNA watch for Romain Jerome. The watches worked so well, that they not only saved the dying Romain Jerome brand a few years ago, but catapulted i
Nobody started this yet? Okay, I will - after a 2 day hiatus, today's watch is the Piaget caliber 9P.
My Breitling Aerospace just bit the dust after 5 years. It fell about 4 feet to the bathroom floor, directly on the crystal. The lcd appears broken, and a hand fell off. I brought it in for repairs. I think it will be very expensive to get repaired since when I took it in for a battery this summer they said Breitling would only replace the battery if I had a full service - cost $400. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a replacement. I have very small wrists, and cannot wear many of the newer mechanical watches, although I have 15 year old Tag auto chronometer that fits great. In fact I am currently selling an Oris Worldtimer on ebay because it is just too big for my stick-like wrist. If possible would like: TitaniumAlarmsecond time zoneno more than about 10 mm thickno more than 42 mm wideCould be quartz or mechanical.Cost should be less than $1000 if possible but might go higher for the perfect watch.Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Good peoples:Business takes me to L.A. pretty often. Next time is early December and I'd like to shoehorn in some quality watch-watching time, which I've never actually done there. Would love to hear about some favorite shops in L.A., Santa Monica, up in Pasadena and as far as the valley. Of course, if there's something further away that's a must-see, I'll make that hapen, too. Many thanks, Rev
