TAG Heuer CV 2010.BA0794 wrist watches news:
Greetings all! I'm happy to have found this forum. I just found my great grandmother's watch while cleaning out my mother's attic. I'm not overly concerned about value because sentimental value is most important to me. But I'm a curious type and would like to learn more about the watch. I have found some information online, but not a lot.I found the serial number and entered it into an online "Longines Year Identifier". It identified the watch as being from around 1905. That makes sense because it was likely given to her for her 15th anniversary. I understand that 1905 is when Longines started making ladies wristwatches. So, I'm interested in learning more about watch. Anything unique you notice about it? Suggestions on having it restored? Things to watch out for? Best way to find someone reputable to restore it?I would be grateful for any advice you think someone who knows NOTHING about watches should learn. Thanks so much!
May 16th, the day after the New York City GTG event. I was fortunate to try on the grail piece I have coveted for a very long time. Just wanted to share with all Now if I only had my digital Point and shoot instead of my SLR with 18-105mm lens Excuse the quality of the shots.
Ok, so select all the breitlings you have currently in your collection. Let's see what we own!Note - you can make multiple selections on this poll, so select all that apply!
Two different watches, certainly, but am curious about thoughts on whether the availability and hype of this newest model, with an improved movement, might affect the demand for the Hulk a bit. That would be overall, and possibly among those who may be on waiting lists for both watches. If they came in at the same time and you could only afford one at the moment, which would you pull the trigger on? Would you wait for the Pepsi if it was a later availability instead, (USA) and if you expected funds would not otherwise be there in full? Also, thoughts about whether production/availability of the present Hulk might open up a little more if Rolex is contemplating making movement changes and re-styling the Sub, for the next Basel or otherwise. My SS preferences at the moment are to acquire a Hulk and one of the new OP 39mms in white. Interested in getting opinions as to whether Hulk availability is going to continue totally as is, or perhaps may get a little better. Thanks.
Just wondering something I was checking the website today and Basel is one month away. Now, I could be wrong (Usually am ) but there doesn't seem to be much Hype this year. I am thinking last year, we had threads and threads of discussion on predictions, desires, fails etc. But it seems to this WIS that this year is somewhat subdued(?). Does anybody else sense that we are not as excited about this Basel as years past? No Paul... only you... you're the only one.
