- I have been wearing this watch for over a week and just noticed that the number son the watch are 12, 4 and 8! Not the typical 12, 3, 6 and 9. Very strange...

Perrelet A1074-2 wrist watches news:
It took Roger Dubuis months to get a proper press release out on this watch with specs. I took images of the new Easy Diver watches back in January 2010, and am only now able to share them with you. I wanted some hard details to go along with the images. Prices will start at $12,900 for the subsidiary second model versions. Here are two different models. The sub seconds version and the chronograph. While the EasyDiver Chronograph is a sexy number, I think the real momentum is with the time only model.Roger Dubuis gave the watch a moronic name. I love the "EasyDiver" part (a la Easy Rider). I kid you not, they actually named it the "EasyDiver Hours, Minutes, and Small Seconds." And people wonder why I make fun of the watch industry. "Check out my cool new car...the Wheels, Engine, and Steering Wheel." Aside from a name you don't want to utter yourself, the entry level EasyDiver is a great timepiece. The cool character is accompanied by a beautiful in-house made automatic movement (more
For 2016, Citizen is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Eco-Drive, the brand's pioneering technology of powering watches through light. Citizen's first light-powered analog watch, the Crystron, was released in 1976, and in the four decades since that initial offering Citizen has painstakingly refined the technology, creating watches that are not only more efficient, but also far more refined. The Eco-Drive OneThe culmination of that effort is the Eco-Drive One, Citizen's big reveal for Baselworld 2016. At a thickness just shy of 3mm, The Eco-Drive One is the thinnest solar-powered timepiece ever produced. Driving the watch is Citizen's new caliber 8826¡ªa movement made up of 85 components and just 1mm thick. Despite being so thin, the Eco-Drive One is capable of running a whopping 10 months on a full charge. The Eco-Drive One will be available in three general release models¡ªthe AR5000-50E, AR5000-68A, and AR5004-59H (stainless steel case with cermet bezel)¡ªas well as the limited edition
Are modern mechanical watch movements of similar design and quality, essentially comparable? Reading a listing of a 17 jewel Patek struck me as decidedly similar to a description of a Hamilton. It got me wondering if and when mechanical watch technology reached maturityWhat makes a manual-wind movement superior and does Hamilton (alongside other brands) represent the apex of wind-up watch development? Technology typically advances in stages and eventually reaches a point where further development is largely incremental. When it comes to portable watercraft, the canoe is an elegant machine that's not likely to change very much. Inflatible boats with outboards may supplant canoes in certain applications, but they're not "better canoes." My knowledge of watch mechanics is pretty basic, but my guess is that manual-wind watch movements are now rather canoe-like. Is that true? And if so, can the best Hamilton watch movements of the 20th century be placed alongside other superior bran
Gents,Im about to purchase my first AP, I have few rolexs and Panerai but never AP.I managed to find a brand new 2015 model 15202 but the dealer is asking me to pay the retail price without even 1% off. I'm following this auction for a pre-moon Speedmaster that appears to have an interesting history. Absolutly amazing what provenance will do to the value of a watch! The current bid of $7100, is more than twice the going price, assuming it's a caliber 321 movement (no movement pictures and the time of purchase could make it a late 321 or an early 861) How high will it go? As I type, the auction doesn't end for another 24 hours!Auction link:cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:ITThe seller states that she is the wife of co-author of: Dark Waters:An Insider's Account of the NR-1:The Cold War's UndercoverNuclear Sub: An Insider's Account of the NR-1 The Cold War's Undercover Nuclear SubA former crewmember and a journalist join forces to tell the absorbing tale of the deepest secret weapon in the U.S. Navy¡¯s submarine force, the deep-diving nuclear submarine NR-1.
