Piaget G0A37199 wrist watches news:
To close October, we are turning our attention to the city of Hong Kong, which is surely one of the most significant market for watches. Hong Kong, as some of you may know, is the single largest market for watches. It continues to the lead the world in terms of value for Swiss watch exports. Last year, it imported over 4.1 billion CHF worth of Swiss watches, nearly double that of the United States. And along with neighboring China, it¡¯s also one of the world¡¯s largest exporters of watches. So this month, we decided to check out the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and also Watches & Wonders 2015. Check out what we saw in this month¡¯s round-up below. Our visits to Hong Kong aside, we also look at new watches from SevenFriday, Panerai, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Omega. Finally, we check out Greubel Forsey¡¯s deceptively simple-looking Tourbillon 24 Secondes Vision to find out how much work actually goes into the watch. And, still on the subject of high-end watches and finishing, we examine
Specifically your personal opinion on the max $ ammount you believe should be spent on a watch with an ETA.. How do you consider an ETA movement that has been 75% modified? Would you spend 1k2k5k10kon an ETA movement?
Hi All,Actually I own a Explorer II - black dial but now I'm looking for a diver watch (non-rolex this time, and that's the reason why Submariner is out of options). At the moment I'm thinking about the brand new IWC Aquatimer 3290-01 vs the Omega Seamaster PO 600m.Of course, the Cartier Calibre Diver is starting to growing on me but I want to keep the options limited.Does anyone has the experiences with the New IWC Aquatimer? or does Omega PO will be hard to bit on this contest? What about Cartier Calibre Diver? it would be a good option and eliminated the PO?Thanks in advance for your advises,Rodrigo Quintero B
Still my favorite after 5yrs
Hi guys,Mostly a lustful lurker all this time but I seemed to have stepped into my first Rolex conundrum. I just purchased this bracelet as a genuine Rolex vintage jubilee (ebay). However, I've never seen a Rolex bracelet that uses pins instead of screws??? I've been told this is correct. Are there any experts that can confirm/deny based on these pics? Would appreciate any and all comments! Thanks,Bob
