Planet Ocean 8500 Crown Help
Hell All,Newbie here with a questions. I posted this on another watch forum as well:Hello,This is my first post in the forums! I have had a titanium SMP for about 10 years and loved it very much. I recently purchased the new planet ocean with the 8500 series movement. I had some concerns about the way the crown srews in on the new 8500 and was hoping some folks with planet ocean 8500 can help/chime in:When I screw in the crown it does not feel like it locks up very tight. It is also easy to unscrew as compared to my old SMP. Is this normal for the planet ocean 8500? Should I be concerned about the water tightness? Does Omega pressure test every watch after assembly? The watch is only a day old so I am feeling a bit stressed by this. Hope it is normal...Thanks in advance for your help!!-b

Hello all. I have what I think is a Calatrava. This was my Grandfathers watch which was a gift to him from my Grandmother in 1968. I was hoping that some of the folks here can tell me a little more about this watch. I want to have it restored because the crystal has a tendency to pop loose but not off. I'm not the type that will take the back off to look for serial numbers and the like, I just don't trust myself to do that to this watch. It runs like a champ. The picture of the back shows the reflection of the camera lens so that's why you see lettering. I'm not the best picture taker eitherOriginal receipt:The watch:

AP ROO 44 SS for a Rolex 218238?
I just bought my grail watch last month. It's a Rolex YG DD II 218238 with ivory dial. I haven't even worn it yet, but I'm already considering swapping it for the AP ROO 44 stainless with panda face. I love the AP. However, I find it a little uncomfortable on my wrist. My question is: do you think the AP 44 will go out of style? I trade up watch's frequently and I'm concerned the large size of the AP will make it unattractive to many in the future. My friends think I'm nuts for considering getting rid of the President for the AP. My wife thinks I have a sickness since as soon as I obtain a watch, I'm already thinking about the next one.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to take the time to share some observations I've had regarding the new SS Pepsi release and hopefully get your thoughts on something that's been puzzling me. Maybe even some from our current WG BLRO owners. I may be wrong -or it's just too early to tell- but it seems like the general sentiment or at least expected reaction to the new Pepsi by current WG Pepsi owners at the most is offense and in the least, disappointment. To our WG BLRO owners. What were your first reactions to the SS Pepsi? And why? Here comes the crux. Stealth wealth, a virtue stated by many WG owners and aspirers. If its purpose is to please oneself, would it be unreasonable to be disappointed if you found yourself among a sea of SS Pepsis (After the 2-10 waitlist)? If I was an original owner, I don't think I would be. White gold at the end of the day is still white gold.
