- The only blem with the watch is it needs to move to self wind like a omega, the watch is very nice but the band looks cheap. I like the Gatsby better.

Rado R13724752 wrist watches news:
I have a couple of questions about what I believe to be a Lange. First, am I correct from what you see in my photo? The case is three piece, 14K. I am not sure how these open and with the seals probably won't try. The dial is a buttery gold color. Overall, the watch is in extremely good condition, shows very little wear. Didn't draw much attention in the online auction. I was shocked.Next question, why would some of the cld models be marked cld on the dial and some not? Was it due to the fact the gold filled models were but, for the extra price of the solid gold models they didn't feel that needed to be stated?Lastly, what was the duration of production for the cld watches? I see the Lange in Tom's posting of the 1949 catalog but, am not sure how long they produced the models or what year mine would represent. Thanks,Rob
I know we have a thread for the American black dial wrist watches in this section, now let's see your American RED 12 dial wrist watches! Here are a few that I have done in the past year. If you can't tell by now I am a hugh fan of Elgin and Waltham.
Hey so I'm brand new here. Ever since I was a young kid, I always wanted a nice watch! Well I'm now able to afford a decent watch, the problem is they're so many to choose from, I really don't even know where to start.I'm looking to set aside about 1000-1500$ for a nice watch. But I really don't know anything about watches to begin with! I want a dress watch, one that will stand out as a nice watch. One that I could look at and be proud of.I'm open to any and all suggestions, at this point I really don't know if I want a gold, quartz, silver, or leather strapped watch. So any good suggestions around my price range would be appreciated. Mainly I'm just looking for something of considerable quality, one which will retain it's value, of course I'm looking for something I will keep for life and pass down one day. Also, does anybody have any good links, or books that I might read about starting watch collecting? I feel like their is so much information I need to learn! I have no clue where t
Question related to service...After several years of heavy use, my old man is giving me his Panerai 299. While generally in good shape, the crown guard is pretty loose and jiggles around. Certainly not useful any more in preventing ingress of water. Is there a way to tighten it myself using inexpensive tools I can buy online, or would you recommend either bringing it in to an AD for service/sending it to Panerai. All else being equal or nearly equal, I'd go with the lowest-cost option. Thanks!
It¡¯s not that I don¡¯t like my SD4K, just sometimes it feels a little on the heavy side . Overall quite comfortable but the bracelet could be a little more tapered .Is the bracelet on the SD-43 50Th more tapered than the SD4K C ?The 16610 LN with engraved rehaut last of the mighty 5 didgit Subs is growing on me . Even the Previous SD4K 16600 but did it ever come with engraved rehaut? Just toying around with the idea ... What do you guys think ? The glidelock would definitely be missed ...
