- I work as a bank teller and we don't have clocks up at the bank, so instead of having to look at my computer screen, I know the time, with a little style.

- The watch is fine for work which is when I wear it. It has a luminous face so you can read it by pressing the watch stem.

- I was surprised by how large the watch is, and worried that it would be too heavy. But I have found it to be fine - and fun to use. I enjoy that it winds up as I jog or walk, and that it is easy to read and keeps good time.

Seiko SUR129 wrist watches news:
Well, I'm trying to bide my time until I'm ready for my 5135. To help with that, I took one of Milos' photo's, extracted the 5135 & made a pair of Christmas wallpapers for my iPhone.. Now I can look at "my" 5135 every day Thought I'd share it with you all - feel free to save it to your phone. I'm assuming Milos doesn't mind me hawking his photo.. (thanks pal!) so here you go all. Personally I like the first one the best, the watch goes good with the gold-tomes of the decorations. Though the 2nd is more colorful.PS - I enjoyed it so much I may make a few other model versions
Many here have complained of stem and crown issues on larger watches, particularly Invictas with the SW 200 movement.Croton's boss David Mermelstein addressed this issue in a backhanded way today on TV saying his company had taken extra care to protect the stem in a small skeletonized movement fitted into a 46 mm case.So the issue - with any of these movements - isn't the movement, it's the case size relative to the movement. Now, I could go on a tear about why a certain company doesn't address that situation as well, but I'll just leave it at this.
I'm not well versed when it comes to AP watches. The one pictured below is being offered to me. It has a thin case, 38mm diameter excluding crown, diamond hour markers and monoblock case. The case back has No. 422. Not sure what it means but I guess this is not the model reference number. I don't want to open the watch since its not yet mine to check the reference number. Can anyone tell me what model this is and approximately what year it came out?
Thought I would do a little change up on my Navitimer. The only downside to having purchased it on a croc strap is that I really cannot get the watch wet. I do not dive or plan to spend any prolonged period of time in the water with my Navi (I have others for for that) but I do like to wear it when I fly and sometimes it gets a little wet when we haul in our rescue swimmers. Tell me what you think.
Does anyone know where I could get an on-line version of the Olympus User Manual? I have the manual at home, but I would like to have a pdf so I can access the setting instructions when I am away from home, like now, when I'm at the office.
