- a good watch. looks good, keeps perfect time, my only bug is that the main second hand only works with the stopwatch. it can be a little annoying until you get used to it.

Found in the bottom of a box of mostly dead Timexs and kids plastic watches at a flea market.Dial is 21mm x 22mm. Movement diameter is ~23mmNo crown, but by manually winding it will tick for several seconds.Anybody know the approximate vintage? Would there be more info under the dial? Thanks, Brian
Hey just started posting here and figured I'd ask about getting an original crystal for my watch. I mentioned in my intro I got a star crack in this not long after I got it as NOS. I was very very bummed to put it mildly. Anyway back then (early 90's) my jewelers only choice and resource was to replace it with the one it wears now. It fits great but I know it isn't org. The org was flat made of glass and well thin. Since I just wear this while in a suit and tie I doubt it'll happen again. How do I find the correct crystal? I bought the identical watch off the net b/c the guy said it had a flat glass crystal, he did say he wasn't taking it back if it wasn't the right one. Well it wasn't so now I have two. (the other one I took apart to see if I could determine what the watch model was so I could search. Well after we moved the "parts watch" (its running) is in a box so unless I take this apart I have no numbers to offer just this picture. I could get pictures of the back too if it'll he
I'm just wondering right now on the hunt for a Roo and saw the safari first i thought i'd like the greytheme more but the leather strap color was a bit too light for my liking so now searching for the vampire and considering the safari as well it's pretty cool too what do you guys think? Hello allI am new to these forums and very much not a watch expert, though I have the good fortune to own a nice Rolex, Daytona 6263.I am currently considering selling this watch. However, though I would like the cash it will pain me to part with the watch. So to soften the blow what I am considering is using some of the money to purchase another, cheaper Rolex -- depending on the price I can get for the 6263, I might be looking to spend around €10k - €20k.I am quite attached to the appearance of the Daytona. So my question is, are the (relatively) cheaper, newer Daytona models good value for money? And will the value appreciate over time? Thanks in advance for all replies that don't use too much expert jargon that I won't understand! :)
A friend living in Switzerland got an SS Daytona for me.He is asking me if I want to visit him in EU and get it.Though I am thinking of shipping directly to US.Do I need to pay tax/duties or any other charges when doing international shipping from Switzerland to US, what is the rate?Do I need to do pre-pay ? and does US customs blocks my package if don't pay in advance?I did some research but am still not clear.Any body here knows the answer or had similar experience to share? Thanks!
