Cartier Calibre Watches
The big news from Cartier for 2010 is the Calibre collection of watches. While they did release a few impressive highly complex watches (not to mention a tourbillon version of the Calibre watch), those aren't going to be volume models. The Calibre will be a much more affordable timepiece with a fresh and modern look along with the Cartier name. As a thick layer of icing on the cake, the Calibre is named as such for having a Cartier in-house made movement. That's right. The jewelry brand can finally satisfy the connoisseur's need for exclusive in-house movements and the brand's famous style. The movement is the 1904 MC, named for the year that Cartier made a watch for Alberto Santos Dumont, being Cartier's first wrist watch. I need help identifing an Omega watch
I was at an estate sale when i ran across this watch had a price tag of 300.00 on it. I asked for more info on the watch but as usual at estate sales they just said its an Omega 14K with 1377 on the back case. It looked nice so i offered 200.00 and the watch was mine. When I got home I opened the box then the case and took out the lower portion of the case where the watch usually sits to see if the receipt was there (thats where I place all my watches receipts) sure enough it was there. The watch was purchased in 1983 says 2500.00 regular price but was sold for 1900.00+tax. I see that i got a great deal but i can not find this watch anywhere, so i am asking for the pros to inform me as to what i have. the watch is very very slim and quite heavy for its size. Looks like the band was resized since the is a small piece of it in a small ziplock bag. You can see the straight line on the ban in the picture , that looks like where they did the work. Has anyone had ro send their waatch in for service?
I need to send in My 1 year old Super Avenger for service. It was running about +5 seconds. now it is at +10 seconds. The rotor seems to be making more noise as it free spins. It is under warranty from the AD that I bought it from. Has anyone had to send their watch in to Breitling for repairs? How long of a wait should I expect. Where would you recommend sending it to? Here in the States or to the service center in Switzerland? I hat to send it in but I want it to be right. Any advice or information would be appreciated.Thanks

Omega Flightmaster
I have had this vintage Flightmaster since the 1970s and am wondering if, considering the cost, it is worth restoring. The crystal is scratched. Watch is not running. Any comments would be appreciated.
