- My husband really liked it. His only comment was it takes a few minutes to put on the band because that's the band/clasp style and once you get used to it..doesnt really matter.

I know, I know, you are supposed to expect the unexpected. Even so, I did not expect what Baume & Mercier, Greubel Forsey and Cartier unveiled at this year’s watch fair in Geneva. Here is a look back at the three biggest surprises of SIHH 2014 – as we’re all looking forward to the surprises that SIHH 2015 might offer next January.1. Baume & Mercier Clifton 1892 Flying TourbillonOf the 16 brands at the show, the last one you would figure to launch a $57,000, 30-piece limited-edition flying tourbillon wristwatch would be Baume & Mercier. After all, its niche is affordable luxury, with watches priced primarily in the $1,500-to-$5,000 range. Nevertheless, its show headliner was a new rose-gold Clifton wristwatch featuring a flying tourbillon. The tourbillon is made for B&M¡¯s sister company in the Richemont Group, the movement producer Val Fleurier. I have several Seiko watches and personally I had never had a reason to contact their CS department. That says volumes about the brand. However this year something came up that caused me to have to call them.My wife lost her 1st husband several years ago. He had a Seiko watch that is not in production anymore. My father-in-law was very, very fond of Patrick and he also loves watches. My wife decided to give Dad Patrick's still working Seiko and this moved him a great deal. However, there was a problem. Patrick had a very small wrist and Dad did not. The missing links from the original sizing were long gone and were no where to be found. The call went out to Seiko CS and THEY STILL HAD THE LINKS IN STOCK!Better yet, they sent a set of 3 replacement links FREE! The only cost was S&H which was less than $10.Now that is great CS!
I wasn't being extra careful on my ROC's bracelet since the bracelet on my previous ROO grey was quite scratch proof. While cleaning my watch yesterday,I was quite surprised to see a small hairline scratch on my barely one month old 26331st. Seems like the bracelet on ROC is more prone to scratches?Already gotten over it...just being curiousSent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
