- Very nice watch - exactly as described. I wanted a bangle style for easy on and off when travelling and this fits the bill. Watch face is large, but easy to read and suits my needs well. Thanks.

- I get compliments on this watch all the time, so I guess that is good. Dual time zones and date hand can be blocked at times by the hour and minute hand but that is my only complaint. The square face design is pretty fresh as well

U-Boat 1904 wrist watches news:
I got this in a lot auction. I recognize the duplex escapement which probably dates it to the 1800's but I can't make out the markings.Probably not American, but does anyone recognize it or can send me to the right forum? Thanks, Joel
Hello everyone, I'm trying to familiarize myself with vintage American Watches as I want to be a collector. Gladiator is helping me over in the beginner forum, but I researched for about an hour on some of these watches and I just have no idea how they're real. First I found a vintage Waltham watch that is in my price range and I'd like to get it; however, the seller lists the movement as a 21 Jewel 750-B after searching for a long time online I only see that the 750 B came with 17 Jewels. Also, the two watches that look most similar to the watch on eBay have different numbers and hands than the one listed. Here are two pictures taken from the auction:Movement:Front:Serial:Also in regards to Elgin,Are these two watches good to buy? I think the price is reasonable (for me) and I'm interested in becoming a vintage collector and need to know if purchased; would I be taking a step in the right direction?
Just curious. Does anyone know if all 2000 omega snoopy watches have been distributed to AD's?Anyone have any thoughts on ck2998 (5.5k) vs DSOTM (6.5k). have a nice evening.
Hello,I have a Omega 2254.50 which I'm considering selling. I bought the watch in 2002 and have lost the box and papers. I do have the extra links though. The watch was serviced two-years ago. It has never really kept great time, it is currently losing 17 seconds a day. Based on the attached pics, what do you think I could sell this for? Crystal is scratch freeBezel is pretty cleanNo dings or dentsScratches, swirls etc. abound Second hand (red marker) is fadedBracelet has usual stretchThanks, Guys.
Is there a watch that you purchased (a non rolex), that ended up sharing equal wrist time if not more, than your rolex(es)?I couldn't get past my love for Rolex, and didn't see myself wanting to wear a watch as much as I did my Rolexes, until I came across this babyExtremely light, versatile, water resistant, and under the radar IMO. She will definitely make my Rolexes jealous. Not my wrist shot; just one of my favs.Any similar stories for you?
