Ulysse Nardin 266-33-8/925 wrist watches news:
I picked this up on eBay on a whim - anyone come across one of these before?IMG_0820.jpgIMG_0821.jpgIMG_0822.jpgIMG_0824.jpgIMG_0830.jpgThere are a couple pages I didn't take pictures of, but can if anyone is interested.I'm a newbie collector with a strong interest in American vintage watches (pocket & wrist). I've been lurking around here for a few weeks now, at at watchuseek for a bit longer (hope I'm allowed to mention them here ).
well, ya coulda knocked me over with a feather ....I bought this Benrus earlier this week, and it arrived today .....does it remind you of anything ?.......a certain Elgin perhaps ? notice if you will the conical crystal ! and the dial is very nice ...those white spots are floaty dust I blew it away before I put it back in the caseand here;s the very clean movement ....and here's the band that came with it ....yeeeccccchhhh ....and a hearty blahso there she is ....and sadly this watch is much better looking in person, than in these photos....sigh
Hi all,I bought my 15400OR new last month from a trusted source here and have had some issues with it. Nothing major but definitely something unexpected. 1. I had 2 of the octagonal screws come very loose. I had the tools at home to tighten all of them down where I noticed 2 more were starting to come loose. 2. I was wearing the watch yesterday, and the bar that holds my clasp almost fell out. I noticed the little screw to hold the bar and clasp in place had fallen out. Is this normal? I'm glad the bar didn't slide out completely where my watch would of fallen off my wrist. Who knows what could of happened then. I am hoping the AP Boutique in Beverly Hills can insert the RG screw on site and tighten everything else up.
I'm sorry if this has already been discussed* but why did Omega change the 3750.50 (/3753) to the new reference #s (311.30.42.30.01.005/006) back in 2014?More importantly, what has changed between the references, apart from the new box / NATO-style strap and loupe package? As far as I can tell, same mvmt / crystal / case / caseback... .*I searched both the ref# and Baselworld 2014 but still came up empty
Bought my first over the weekend and it should be delivered any minute. PAM112. Very excited to add this to the collection!
