Ulysse Nardin 263903/91 wrist watches news:
The official status of Omega’s Speedmaster Professional as that of “Moonwatch” is widely known and celebrated amongst enthusiasts and certainly by Omega themselves. Unlike many brand partnerships, the relationship between Omega and NASA has yielded real, tangible benefits, with the Speedmaster itself making appearances in each of the manned missions to the Moon, and even contributing to one of the greatest dramas of the 20th century, helping the astronauts of Apollo 13 return safely to Earth after an oxygen tank explosion two days into the mission. To gain a more personal perspective on this relationship, Omega sent us to NASA headquarters in Houston, where we had access to astronauts Jim Lovell (Gemini 7, 12; Apollo 8, 13) and Tom Stafford (Gemini 6A, 9A; Apollo 10; ASTP). We heard the first hand account of Lovell’s heroism, and the Speedmaster’s pivotal role in Apollo 13’s return to Earth. 1 OF 26 “Houston, we have a problem.&rd
Well I have been lurking around here for a bit over a month now and thought it time to introduce myself and say thanks for all the great information you guys have on this forum. When I found this site I had 3 watches, 2x Breil and 1 citizen.Breil GlobeBreil LibertyCitizen EcoDriveAnd now 8 watches later, I am starting to think I may have developed a problem. So the first purchase was the Invicta 9937OB.Followed closely by the OM (thanks to Ulackfocus), Orient Gronholm LE and the Invicta 4495.So after a bit of a spree I have slowed down a bit now to a watch every 2-4weeks. Vostok AmphibianHamilton Air RaceAnd most recently the Dievas Flieger Time (#46/50). Unfortunately I cant seem to take a picture that shows just how good this watch is. The strap is amazing and it really has a beautiful retro look to it. Many comments already and I have had it for 2 days. With the packaging/presentation, service and price offered for this bad boy, I can assure you I will be buying many more Dei
Looking for the posts for Dash Board Clocks, I came across a group of watches that are classed as Concept Watches. Some of these may have made it into production, I dont know, but the cool thing is just how far they can take watch design, and will some of these ever become "mainstream"The Silver Arrow Concept draws its inspiration from the Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS. The design incorporates a whirl, a power reserve, and a tachometer with its needle's three star shape reflecting the Mercedes brand. The more interesting feature of this watch is that it features Open and Close buttons around the ring, which allows you to lock and unlock the car remotely, which is something we've always wanted to do with our watch.
Hi all,As some know I sold my 5712 because I needed some money to make a great investment, but God I miss it, I thought that one day when I can I might add money and flip my AP to get a RM, 035-01 probably, but I realize that no I MUST get a 5712 some day, it's just the most awesome everyday watch for me, so no regrets having sold it, it was for a very goo purpose, but getting one back is mandatory and I won't get any new watch before I got it back, don't intend to flip my AP either, I love it and want to be like I was before, the AP and the PP, and if on top of that I can one day add the RM I will be the happiest guy in the world, in the foreseeable future I will probably have the funds for the watch sector in about 1 year, there are still great investments to be made and I consider investing in things that will give me a comfortable retirement more important than having my PP back at the moment, as long as I have at least 1 cool watch I'm ok with that, but to be honest when I see a 5
So after tossing and turning over which model to buy. Out of the Milgauss / OP 39 Rhodium and 16570 I decided to go with a brand new 114300 Rhodium. I think it will compliment my 16600 nicely whilst adding versatility This is my first brand new Rolex, just took the stickers off today and will have perpetual anxiety over scratches haha. But here it is! Thanks to everyone for all your help and suggestions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
