Breitling E56121.1 wrist watches news:
I hope you guys can help me out here. I recently received a very old Seamaster from my mother who purchased it for my grandfather brand-new in the late 1940s. I have done a lot of looking around and have not found any information or pictures that match this particular watch. It has a cracked crystal and is definitely not in great shape and has not been touched in any way that I can tell. I did take it to a jeweler and he said that it appeared to be authentic. Unfortunately I don't know how to open it up (and probably shouldn't try) to take pictures of the inside. I am going to post a couple of pictures of it and I hope somebody can let me know something about the watch. Before I have any work done on it would be nice to know if it's authentic or not. Thank you all in advance.
Spaceship at Noon...
So I havent made a semi-large purchase in a while, and I was considering doing so in the form of a Longines Flagship. I have seen them on the used market in the $1000 range, and was wondering is this really the watch to go for. Can I get some advice on other possibles that I should consider in this price range, preferably white dial, around 40mm, decent resale/trade value for the distant future and I wont be picky on the strap/bracelet as long as its not PVD.(borrowed photo for visual aid)
A friend of mine used to be a Horologist and had a box of watches I was checking out and said pick three. So I ended up with these I cant find any information on the Jubilee watch and I have searching Google so I figured I post here. I really like the layered lug on the Bulova but she stopped working one day bulova.jpgjubilee.jpgwaltham.jpg
Sorry in advance for the long post and the truly, truly pathetic iphone pics. (I actually debated making an incoming thread at all because of the pics, lol.)I got the DD40 in May '16 and its been my daily until last week. I got a call from my AD a few weeks ago and went in to see the SD43. I really liked it but thought that Basel was just around the corner and I was leaning more towards another PM as I love the weight and the feel. I told them to sell it to the next person and it was gone the same day. But... I couldn't get it out of my mind after I left and asked them to keep me on the list for the next one.For some strange reason, I thought that they would get another in very quickly even though it was only the second one the AD has received since it was released. My hunch was correct and they received another just a couple weeks later. Lucky me.Some miscellaneous thoughts in no particular order:1. The 43mm suits my 8 wrist perfectly. 2. The red font wasn't a big deal to me e
