Brand new Seamaster stopping in less then 20 hrs
Hello everyone - Great forum you guys have here. It is full of information and i want to thankyou everyone for sharing their knowledge. I have been learning alot from this forum. I recently bought my first Omega 2254.50 from an AD. It worked fine when i was wearing it everyday in an active lifestyle. I set it aside on one weekend and it stopped the next night. I was surprised and decided to perform a test on it. I wound it 40 times and set it aside and sure enough it stopped again after about 19 hours. I performed the test again two times and got the same kind of results that every time it stopped less then 20 hours. I went back to the AD today and told them of the problem. They said they will check it out and let me know in couple of days that what is wrong with it. I am just surprised that a brand new watch is having this problem. Is it an isolated instance or did anybody on this forum also had problems with their omegas stopping in short time intervals..just curious. Also since ther

Okay, I've been watching this giant commercial for a few days now. I have nothing bad to say about the watches they are selling, but the descriptions and over the top hype have been quite humorous. :DDoes anyone else watch this? What do you think about the descriptions?

AP's annual production
I know the figure of 20,000 watches a year has been bandied about for AP. A far cry lower than the ~ 800/900K produced by Rolex.On the now discontinued 15300 and current 15400...anyone have a SWAG at how many of these are produced per year by AP?Apologies if this has been asked before.

Limited Edition Scott Carpenter
I purchased a Breitling Cosmonaute Scott Carpenter Limited Edition model around 1996. I still have the box and papers. I don't see these trading hands often in the secondary market. I was hoping some of you might be able to help me with a valuation. Thank you for your input.
