For the 2011 Only Watch Auction, Ikepod will offer this one-of-a-kind red version of the Ikepod Hourglass. Looks like it has black microballs and is a stunning piece. Only one will be made and it will be auctioned off in September.
I was bitten by the "watch fever" bug about six months ago and since then have been buying watches only based on what I thought looked good (and with an affordable price). Now I want to use a little more logic and want to collect with a purpose. I have a real appreciation for mechanical watches in general and really like skeleton watches as well. I don't have a large disposable budget for such things, maybe a couple of hundred a month or so. Many of my current collection are less than $100.00 bucks and include several Citizen Eco-drives, Citizen 21-jewel autos, Invicta 21-jewel miyota movements, Invicta Swiss quartz, Seiko 21-jewel autos and a few inexpensive Chinese mechanicals that looked nice and seemed like good values. My main question to you experts out there is this: If I want to collect not just for the joy of collecting, but hoping that my collection will appreciate over time, should I hold out and only buy decent Swiss mechanicals (and which brands are best value?) or will th

What do we think of the 2 new 5960's? I kinda like the bkue dial on strap, if I was looking for a cool chrono with AC I would definitely consider it.
