Emporio Armani AR4659 wrist watches news:
I had to snap this one in the elevator yesterday on my way to lunch...
I traded my DateJust for a new GMT-II stainless steel. It made little sense to keep the DateJust, as I purchased a Day/Date recently.Got a deal that was hard to pass up. So.....my watchbox has changed. I'll try to take some photos if I can make some time over the next week. It was a hard decision between the GMT-II and a Daytona, but the GMT-II was much more practical as I often travel between timezones and International.Saul
I've just got back from a holiday on the Gold Coast of Australia with the family (thread in Community Forum to follow soon), and while there I managed to sneak in a couple of visits to watch dealers nearby (hey, I'm pretty 'starved' for variety where I live).I visited The Hourglass (a familiar name to those who live in S.E. Asia, I think), and tried on a Longines Hydroconquest (beautiful design, but too small for me), a Rolex SeaDweller (not the DSSD, the 'old' model) - also too small. Very disappointing as this had been my 'grail' watch for quite some time. And tried on a GMT master II - perfect, but much more than I can afford for a watch (but lovely to try on, just for a short time ).Anyway, I noticed the Oris display stand, and having already scored a catalogue back here in NZ a couple of months ago, I noticed they had the blue dial Titan 300 (7533)....size - perfectstyle - perfectprice - MUCH cheaper than back home, so....I am now the proud owner of a new Oris 300m diver .The brac
Not unlike many on here I have a smaller wrist and trying to figure out if the ROO would be too large for my wrist. I wear suits at work so I think it best that I try one on before I buy. Thanks to David for the suggestion. As I live in southeastern VA there are no AD's around. Are there any forum members that live close that I could try one on or get comments from? Not trying to be presumptuous just looking for a little help. Thanks
Have you ever had a nightmare about a watch you owned? I just had one last night about my new Sub. I still feel slightly ill about it, lol. At one point in the dream, I noticed that somehow I had two sets of HUGE dents on the bracelet. I then took it to a jeweler (for some reason) who proceeded to pry at it with a screw driver doing more damage. Eventually they broke off a piece of a silicon like circuit board with some secret number inside the case (no idea what that¡¯s about, it¡¯s a dream it¡¯s not supposed to make sense) and send me back to my original AD for help. That¡¯s about the time my alarm went off. It was bloody terrifying. How about you, any similar nightmares with untold watch destruction?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
