Franck Muller Franck Muller 31483 wrist watches news:
I just stopped in local pawn shop for the first time. The have 2 vintage pocket watches. A 18k omega and an Illinois. They want about 150 for the omega and 125 for the Illinois. The omega has date window at 3 and what I would call a champagne dial kinda sunray finish. The Illinois has a small second at 6 and alot of nice engraving. The dial on the omega is very clean while the Illinois dial has some spotting.U don't know enough but double you think they are worth the price and worth the risk. Also they appear to be operational. The for the helpMark zzz
Is this a Glenn Curtiss residing in this bubbleback style case? The dial and hands match, but the reference shows a gold case. The Webster has a similar gf case but different dial and hands.987F movement serial # 4192438-Any thoughts as to model?
Ok guys, I took some quick and dirty pics. I WANT to give a BIG THANK YOU to BOSCOE for pushing me over the edge in pulling the trigger!! VERY glad I did!! Thank you BOSCOE!!The watch is FULL of elegance.. By the way, this is a generation 1 version and noticed some small differences from the arabic generation 2 that BOSCOE has. Mine seems to have a slightly smaller center dial design and is slightly less intricate than generation 2. Nothing major though. Second thing I noticed, mine DOES NOT say "SWISS MADE" on the dial for some reason, WTF? Not a deal breaker since its on the caseback but JUST curious why it doesnt say it on the dial on mine, though. Other than that, everything else should or does look the same compared to the generation 2 version. LOVE the breguet style hands in furnace blue and the ROMAN numerals!! Not the best pics but they will do for now.. Your thoughts...Got a great number though!! 033/500!!!

My thoughts recently is I would like to try another yellow gold Rolex for a little fun. I owned the 116618lb and it was great (I have even considered looking for another). However, truth be told I want something a little bigger. My wrist is only 7 inches but I guess the 40mm case just feels a little small recently - I have been wearing a lot of AP 41 and 42mm recently so that makes sense.I think a SD43 in YG/WG or even platinum would be an amazing edition to the Rolex lineup. There is no 42-43mm sports model in the Rolex line in PM (only the YM at 44mm). Seems like it wiould fill a GAP (I am considering the skyD as a dressier watch like the DD40).what do you think?
