Replica Longines Watches
The Longines story starts back in 1832 when Auguste Agassiz opened a small 'comptoir' (workshop) in St. Imier. One of Auguste's sisters married Marc Francillon, a shopkeeper from Lausanne and in 1834 they had a son, Ernest Francillon. At that time watch-making in the area used the skills of people working away from the 'comptoir', often at home. In 1866, Ernest Francillon constructed a factory on fields at "Es Longines", near to St. Imier, and brought all of the watch-making skills under one roof - this was the first "Longines factory". In 1880 on the 19th July Ernest Francillon registered the Longines brand and its winged hourglass symbol. Anyone concerned with the history of Longines of Saint-Imier is bound to plunge into the most thrilling adventures, which have become the stuff of legend of modern times. In 1932 Amelia Earhart became the first woman aviator to fly from Newfoundland to Ireland. Longines developed aviatorsˇŻ watches and cockpit instruments. Longines led the field as time-keepers to the world of sports, developing precision stop watches for athletes. Longines was the official timekeeper at the 1952 Winter Olympic Games and 27 more thereafter ensuring that athletesˇŻ performances were accurately recorded. In 2004 Longines launched the Olympic collection as a tribute to the games for which it will always be associated. It is not merely its top-quality range that this watch-making firm owes its greatness and importance. By the time Longines was celebrating the 169th anniversary they had produced 30 Million watches. For all these reasons, therefore, Longines is a virtually inexhaustible mine of reasonably priced collectorsˇŻ items, ranging from pocket chronometers to classic wrist-watches and milestones of quartz technology. The LungoMare, Master Collection, Evidenza, Dolcevita, BelleArti and timeless la grande classigue ranges continue in the tradition of this fabulous brand.
Hey gents,I have a small problem with my Omega Seamaster Chrono 176.005. The gasket between the case and the crystal (the thing that hold the crystal) was gone a couple of days ago. the crystal actually fell out of the case and the gasket/seal came out in parts. took it to my watchmaker and he told me that the gasket actually died due to its age. I'm searching for a new gasket and it seems that OFREI has it, but I'm not sure if that is the right thing to purchase for my watch?link to OFREI's listing of gasketsthanks for reading and thanks for your help in advance!
I am in a quandary over the ROO 44mm in ceramic with the anthracite dial! To begin, I have ALWAYS thought this piece was killer ever since I first saw the pictures of it upon it's release. Now, with some of the members buying them and (kindly I might add) sharing wrist shots of them...I find myself obsessed. I have yet to see one in person, but honestly with all these terrific wrist shots...I feel like I have! Now let's back up 6-7 months ago and let me state I did already own the ROO 44mm ceramic but the one with the black dial. I actually bought the piece pre-owned (only one I have ever seen as such by the way) and therefore was able to wear it and move on without getting killed. To me though, the black dial ceramic piece and the forged carbon piece looked too similar and as such I couldn't see the $6-7K price difference between the two. However this anthracite dial watch is a whole different animal! So I know you guys that have picked one up obviously love it other wise you wouldn't
FedEx knocked at my door this morning and delivered a box that a jeweler's box from AP generally gets delivered in.instant...i thought did I do a deal drunk on TRF yesterday? ...then thought no...did I get my repair back from clearwater after only a week?.... and that was a definite no...so I couldn't figure it out, but I didn't want to open it quite yet. but then I did. and look what arrived! given that I've already sent two watches to Clearwater (one for repair, one for 3rd year warranty validation) and they never once sent either back in a box, Betsy promised me that she would send me one once they came back in stock.well, they kept to their word, and without warning one arrived! Looking forward to taking it with me on my next trip so that I don't need to leave my watch resting on a hotel nightstand!
and the price is attractive I buy. Only recently had I come across a solid gold Speedmaster. My heart started beating much faster and I pulled the trigger. Here is a pic.
I went to watch store today, and salesman offered me this:Omega Speedmaster Date Chronograph, just like the one on the pics.I don`t know anything about this watch(exept that it is probably a Valjoux 7750 movement inside it),I don`t know it`s age(condition of it is not exactly mint, but quite fair)...And price looks fair enough, around 850$!The thing that bothers me is that this watch obviously don`t have sapphire crystal glass(there are one or two little scratches on it),and salesman claim that production date of it is around year 2000.How can it be?I would apreciate any opinion on this watch and,of course,I would like to know real production date of this model! Please guys, help me with this.

When I don’t wear a watch, I’m missing an opportunity to express myself.
Longines Watches aren’t completely functioning less, but they are certainly redundant in today’s age. We all know that everyone has a phone that tells time. But to simply not to wear a watch is a hugely wasted opportunity.
When Do you initially get my Replica Longines Watches , Do you used to wear it every day. Love the Quality of watches . They’re strong watches, can sustain hard hits (don’t try) and shocks and keeps time well.>
