- I was on the waitlist for this watch and it was worth every waiting minute. The stones on this watch shine in the light and the mother of pearl face is very smooth. The face of the watch is ger than I had expected, but the ger the better. I also like that the buckle has clear crystals on it adn jsut love the patent strap. It is lovely.

What would be your choice? You can get the Vostok Amphibian, 200M WR for $62 and the Seiko with a see through back, 100M WR for about $95.
Hello my fellow watch comrades. This is a good day to join your excellent forum. I wanted to show you the leather watchband I got for Christmas. These wide retro leather bands are coming back, and if you want one, there is no better place to order. I think I paid $19 for this, and they custom fit it to this particular watch - part of my vintage collection - an 'old school' 60s gold Girard-Perregaux. I love this watch. I don't know what it is about this watch; it is like it has a soul or something. It is a little small by today's standards, but the band now makes it 'pop' and gives it the attention and love it deserves.I also received a sweet Seiko and a red G-Shock. More photos later when I have time. Merry Christmas ye horologists!!!!!
My 1987 Rolex 16013 was my 24/7 watch from 1987 until December 2009 when I placed it in semi-retirement, i.e., special occasions only. Since that time, my Seamaster 300M GMT and 39mm Railmaster have been in every-other-day rotation. Well, although I'll miss the date on the GMT a bit, about a week ago I decided on the Railmaster for everyday wear. My decision was based on the size, weight and simple, elegant style of the Railmaster. Of course, since my favorite niece (15 years old) thinks the GMT is cool, I'll be sure I'm wearing cool when I see her. I've notice, too, that the Railmaster is even more accurate when it's worn everyday as opposed to every other day. Now, this is really cool . . . so I've been told . . .
I know that the reduced is automatic and like the name states, smaller in size. I've owned both the Pro and the reduced. What is the size of the other auto speedies out there such as the MK40 or some of the other variations of the auto? Are they all based on the Reduced sized housing or are they the same size as the Pro? Thanks, LF
