I saw where Seiko has introduced a few new Grand Seiko's (at least they are new to me) in their calibre 9S collection. 9S Mechanical | Grand Seiko | SEIKO WATCH CORPORATION
Hey all, I'm pretty new to these forums, been browsing for maybe a day or two. I've always been attracted to the many kinds and styles of watches out there but I've recently been looking into getting more into the more classic and higher end market (not considered by some, lol) of watch brands. So anyways, I recently purchased a Tourneau Safari collection watch pictured below for $300 and I'm extremely happy with it. I think it looks clean and simple, one of the styles I go after. So anyways, I just graduated college ( yay! wait, what am I saying , I'm still going back for my masters and maybe a PhD ) and I'm searching for a graduation present :D But, I'm having a little difficulty trying to understand the watch world a little better before I go on to purchase something expensive (~$500-$1500 to me anyway :p). Every store I go into, when I ask for help from the salesperson, I get the "buy buy buy" attitude from them, where every watch I try on "looks perfect on me." I just wish I could

How many people here own an AP that's not either a RO or ROO?PICs please.
WOW!THIS watch is just gorgeous!Boy, did it smile back at me!I was very close at buying it on the spot, but will wait until I see the DSSD in person. Here are some pics. What do you think, guys and gals? Does it look good on me?I just LOVE the domed sapphire crystal. And it's only AR coated on the INNER side! I also adore the swords hands and the Tricompax arrangement (3, 6 and 9) arrangement of the sub dials and the unobtrusive date at 6. The case profile is gorgeous, too!Very handsome watch, indeed!
