Patek Philippe 5102G wrist watches news:
IWC’s Ingenieur family gains a rattrapante or split-seconds function with the launch of the new Double Chronograph (or Doppelchronograph in German) Titanium. The Double Chronograph case measures a substantial 45mm x 16mm and offers a satin finish. The caliber 79230 movement allows the “Doppel” to time multiple events. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. Outside, five screw heads on the bezel are DLC-coated to match the black rubber-coated push-buttons and crown protection. To keep weight and thickness in check, the soft-iron inner case has been omitted. The strap is rubber and the crystals are anti-reflective sapphire, coated on both sides. The back and crown screw in, and water-resistance is 12 bar or 120 meters. The subdials for hours, minutes and the small (hacking) seconds are recessed into the dial. The luminescent material in the rhodium-plated hands is black, but glows at night. The Double Chronograph has three buttons. Pressing the start/stop button at 2 o’
2010 marks the Centennial year of Ermenegildo Zegna, one of Italy¡¯s longest standing family-driven enterprises. Four generations of the Zegna family have directed the company¡¯s activities and created a global brand with stores in eighty six countries. To celebrate this anniversary, Zegna is launching a limited edition watch created by Girard-Perregaux. The edition is limited to 100 pieces, available exclusively in the Top 20 Ermenegildo Zegna flagship stores worldwide. This centenary watch expresses the Ermenegildo Zegna style while maintaining the spirit of a Girard-Perregaux. It also pays homage to the Zegna’s origins, as Angelo Zegna, the father of the founder Ermenegildo, was a watchmaker by trade. The round, pink-gold case houses an annual calendar movement with a highly original display. The date appears in a counter with the numerals delicately reproduced on the dial. The month is indicated in a window at 5 o’clock. The mechanism automatically allows for months of di
I have been thinking about my next purchase for a while and out of a number of choices (JLC master calendar, Breguet black dial marine big date and Breguet Type XXI) I think I have decided upon the Breguet Type XXI. I have been offered a used, perfectly conditioned, recently serviced, two year warranty, full box and papers watch for 50% current retail. Looking on Chrono 24 I can only find one watch for this kind of price and every other at a much higher ticket. But what has really sold me is the amount of 'watch' you get for the money. It's a GMT, Chronograph, flyback, date, with three sub dials from one of the top 5 watchmakers in the world. All for about ¡ê4,000 (including 20% UK tax). Furthermore the watch is so much more stunning in the metal than in the photographs. Can anyone put me off buying a ridiculous 14th watch? (Picture below from the net).
Case across this watch and really cannot find any information about it. Solid 14K Gruen Hunter case with an open face waltham movement. I would guess that the movement was a later replacement (maybe not - correct me). So, I would like to know what movement should be in this case (right now it's 16s Cal 645 Waltham). Also, where can I get any info on Gruen hunter case watches - it seems that after 1904 when the veri-thin came out, Gruen stopped making hunters.Thank you
