Hi everyone! I have included a few pictures of my Hamilton watch. Could anyone give me some information on it? It says it is 10kt gold filled, but that's all I know. The watch is in good working condition, but it is missing the crystal.I have not cleaned the watch at all, and I do not want to try to take the back off, because I don't have the proper tool, nor do I know how to do it. I would sure hate to damage it by trying. Any info would be helpful. I am interested in the value of the watch as it is, if I decide to sell it.Thanks for any help.Nora
I'm digging myself a hole, and it's getting bigger by the second.Yesterday, I paid a visit to my AD. I've been thinking that my next purchase should be under a grand. But, yesterday, I tried on a few pieces which could certainly sway funds from one thing to another.First off, the Omega Speedmaster. Mother of God.It was on a black croc strap, and looked absolutely wonderful on my wrist. A real nice size; actually, I think it wears larger than it actually is. I'm thinking it would be a nice compliment to my Seamaster Pro.Second: The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. It was the one with the orange bezel on a black rubber strap w/orange stitching. My daughter didn't care for it but, hey, what does she know? Kids these days, huh?Next was the Ball Hydrocarbon Engineer. I've had my eye on this one, with the white dial and blue hands, for quite some time. This one is actually closest to where I wanted to be, money-wise.Lastly, we have the Oris Carlos Coste Limited Edition. An absolutely enormous w
Hello! I am new to this forum. I have been trying to study and learn about watches for the past year or so, and about a year ago I bought my first watch of what I hope to be a big collection some day - A Victorinox Ambassador Automatic with day and date, blue face, and stainless steel bracelet. I am very happy with the watch, and am ready to purchase another addition to the collection. I know a little about watches, but definitely have much to learn.A friend has a Fortis Cosmonaut automatic watch that he received as a gift. He does not really know much about watches, and in the several years he has owned it, has only worn it three times. He has the original box and papers, and everything is perfect. It is stainless steel with a black face, and displays the day and date. The model number is 610.22.11M. I beleive the original MSRP on this watch, from what I was able to research online, was approximately $800. I attached a stock online picture of this model to this post.My question is wha
Hey guys, I'm strongly considering selling my 116509 (Met dial) and picking up a Navy Themes.Daytona Cons: I don't wear the Daytona very much, I miss the date function, the screw down pushers are inconvienent for spur of the moment timing and I feel it's a little small on me.it's beautiful and I've always wanted it, but I just don't wear it very much. I've also always loved the Navy... It's a lil larger, has date function, non screw down pushers, that beautiful horn back strap and plus its an AP.Any thoughts???
