Breitling C71340L2/B952 wrist watches news:
Hello all. Hope everyone is enjoying their day off. I'm in the market for a SMP 2254.50. I've read about a favorite AD on here a few times. Anyone care to let me in on who it is?Thanks!
I must have been sleeping alot lately, that I missed the 'inaugaral' opening of the Panerai Forum. I thought folks here do not collect or like Panerai. Months ago, I did ask what does the meaning of H, A, C, D etc etc series mean?I emailed Panerai but I heard no reply. I got their catalog 2007 but they didnt explain much. I tried to search about online but also to no avail. I am not sure about the series much. Panerai, whether brand new of 2nd hand, always command an extremely high price, yet often, the new models are sold out even before they reach the stores. From what I know, many gentlemen love their Panerais so much....that they probably will not think twice getting them if they hold well-paying jobs. For some, they will go for the Panerai-lookalikes watches at much lower prices. Sorry for sidetracking, but back to the question what does the alphabets mean? Thanks
I've looked all over for a reference on the forum for Wakmann watches but there isn't any. So here is mine: This watch was given to me about 20 years ago. He had it when he was going for a private pilots license. I've had it repaired once but died on me right in the middle of a trip to Japan (maybe the aura of all those Seikos and Casios killed it ). Anyway, As I understand it that Wakmann's are Breitling's under American license. I don't see any markings on the movement that suggest that this particular watch is but that doesn't matter to me. This watch was the first watch to suck me into the dark depths of Chronographs.
Hello fellow TRF Here¡¯s my story with Rolex and now my one and favorite watch1- bought my subC to celebrate a huge career milestone2- added the Blue DJ41 to have something dressy. Loved it!3- got offered a BLNR from my AD and fell in love when I saw it and bought it4- got a crazy discount for a hulk from my AD. And of course loved it when I saw it and bought it5- really wanted the JC when I saw it. Turned it down once then bought it from my AD6-7. The black ss Daytona and TT skydweller were next on my list and were offered ONLY as a bundle deal from my AD and I couldn¡¯t resist and bought them8- SD43 offered (twice) by my AD, turned it down first time then bought it the second time.....All of the above in the span of 6 months. Now that all the dust settled I wear m JC almost as my only watch... I ABSOLUTELY love it the most. The rest will get some (very little) wrist time and are pretty much new Now the question is should I keep them and rotate them every so often or sell the ones I don
Is the shade/color of the blue dial the same on the DJ 41 as the Day/Date white gold model? I believe the latter dial is a slightly brighter blue. Thoughts? Also, what are your opinions of the way the Roman numerals are laid out on the white gold Day/Date models? For example, instead of IV for the number 4, it reads llll. Why do you think they chose that layout? Aesthetics?
