Invicta 20443 wrist watches news:
German luxury watch brand Glash¨¹tte Original chose a perfect venue in which to unveil to the public its innovative film project: the 65th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), with which the brand has partnered since 2011. WatchTime was among the select group of international journalists in attendance for the premiere screening of five new short films offering different perspectives on the brand. Scroll down to read more and to view all of the films. The project began in August 2014, when Glash¨¹tte Original reached out to a select group of “friends, partners, and persons familiar with the industry,” offering them the opportunity to develop a concept for a short film that would present their own unique perspective on the watch brand. Sponsored PostSotheby¡¯s is offering a varied selection of wristwatches, ranging from divers to rare chronographs in their Spring sale, taking place on 14th May, 2014 in Geneva. The morning auction will kick off with an array of modern Rolex Daytonas, which offer a variety of dial styles. The reference 16520 is well represented with two well-preserved watches, lots 34 and 35, featuring a ¡°floating Cosmograph¡± dial. The so-called ¡°floating dial¡± shows the designation ¡°Cosmograph¡± with a marked distance from the ¡°Officially Certified¡± line above. Another reference 16520 (lot 53) from a transitional period, believed to have been produced for one year only, displays a rare dial which does not include the ¡°Officially Certified¡± feature. In the afternoon, vintage sports model wristwatches will be the stars of the rostrum. A beautifully preserved Rolex Daytona reference 6263 in stainless steel, lot 289, will be one of the first key elements of the sale for Daytona Collectors. Also notable is an e
I ran across this on YouTube and I thought it was too good not to share. "To my son".
Well after over a year of waiting for funds and dithering about which watch to buy I've finally decided. It was eventualy a choice between the JLC Master RDM in SS or a Rolex TT RG DJI asked for advice and got it.The comments on here were very much for the JLC, which surprised me as there is a Rolex forum here but not a JLC ???My wife thinks that strap watches don't suit me but she's going on a cheap Fossil chrono I'm wearing until I replace the Sea Dweller that's now sold and gone The JLC looks stunning IMO so I have to accept that my wife preferred the Rolex then again she's not wearing it and is happy if I'm happy she's basing her opinion on this picture...But I reckon she'll change her mind once she's seen it on my wrist.I hope so because I've just ordered it and paid a deposit over the phone :-*There's no stock at JLC UK so I'm getting a brand new freshly made one Be about 3-4 weeks, I've waited over a year so what's another month I'll post pics when I get it but for now here's pi
Greetings Omega lovers from a TRF member who mostly is in the Rolex camp.As I am not an Omega expert, I need help regarding the purchase of a blue 225.80.00 Seamaster Chronometer. This purchase will be completed on behalf of my boss's wife who asked me to handle the details regarding a gift for his 40th birthday. My boss is a real wakeboard fanatic (as well as many other sports) having purchased a special boat manufactured solely for this water sport. He has indicated to me he really liked the Seamaster Chrono which he tried on in a store on Rodeo Drive in his last trip to that area. The question is - do you think this style of Omega watch is a good everyday wearer or is it strictly for water sport occasions? I handled one at an Omega AD and the sucker weights a ton!! I also believe this model is not available with the heavily touted Co-Axial movement - do you think this would be a deal breaker??I checked the thread regarding the Seamaster, and although I gleaned a lot of mostly positive
