German luxury watch brand Glash¨¹tte Original chose a perfect venue in which to unveil to the public its innovative film project: the 65th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), with which the brand has partnered since 2011. WatchTime was among the select group of international journalists in attendance for the premiere screening of five new short films offering different perspectives on the brand. Well after over a year of waiting for funds and dithering about which watch to buy I've finally decided.It was eventualy a choice between the JLC Master RDM in SS or a Rolex TT RG DJI asked for advice and got it.The comments on here were very much for the JLC, which surprised me as there is a Rolex forum here but not a JLC ???My wife thinks that strap watches don't suit me but she's going on a cheap Fossil chrono I'm wearing until I replace the Sea Dweller that's now sold and gone The JLC looks stunning IMO so I have to accept that my wife preferred the Rolex then again she's not wearing it and is happy if I'm happy she's basing her opinion on this picture...But I reckon she'll change her mind once she's seen it on my wrist.I hope so because I've just ordered it and paid a deposit over the phone :-*There's no stock at JLC UK so I'm getting a brand new freshly made one Be about 3-4 weeks, I've waited over a year so what's another month I'll post pics when I get it but for now here's pi

Help for Seamaster Chrono Purchase
Greetings Omega lovers from a TRF member who mostly is in the Rolex camp.As I am not an Omega expert, I need help regarding the purchase of a blue 225.80.00 Seamaster Chronometer. This purchase will be completed on behalf of my boss's wife who asked me to handle the details regarding a gift for his 40th birthday.My boss is a real wakeboard fanatic (as well as many other sports) having purchased a special boat manufactured solely for this water sport. He has indicated to me he really liked the Seamaster Chrono which he tried on in a store on Rodeo Drive in his last trip to that area.The question is - do you think this style of Omega watch is a good everyday wearer or is it strictly for water sport occasions? I handled one at an Omega AD and the sucker weights a ton!!
