Maurice Lacroix LC1117-SS002330 wrist watches news:
Hi all,Christmas time is near, and I was going to pull the trigger on a SS Daytona 116520, but searching for some pics and so, I found that Rolex is planning on doing the SS Daytona with ceramic bezelAny news about?Certainly I will wait IF it's true When I purchased my YM I went through the same, bought it, and two months later, Rolex changed the clasp on the YM and the new version is exactly what I would wanted
This two showed up yesterday...SNT001PWeb picture and wrist oneI love it, it's so classy, and very comfortable to wearSNZF83K1This is my first Seiko automatic, but I think is not correctly adjusted, I set the time at 8 am, and 4 hours later, it's running 10 minutes fasterit has the 7S36 movement with see trough backAny thoughts?
I quiet like the Seiko 6602 range and they come in a lot of different models, but without a doubt my favourites are the ones fitted with the dauphine hands. I have been waiting to try pick up a decent one (so much junk about) and then within the space of a couple of hours I saw these two on auctions due to end and I just had to have them. At approx 36mm these are quiet a nice vintage dress watch, maybe not for everyone but in my opinion a watch that should not be overlooked. These are not rare as such but they are getting hard to find in decent original condition, from what I understand some of the models are being canibalised for the hands which are the same as used in the Seiko chrono's. First to arrive was the 6602-8990 Sea Horse from January 1967, crystal a little scuffed but a new one is enroute. The bracelet it came with was non Seiko and just a piece of junk, it was replaced with a nice black leather strap which suits it quiet well. The second arrival came earlier today and it is
So I picked up my 15400 last Sunday from my AD. And I noticed that in one week there are three small ding marks on the edge of the bezel in random spots. I know that I haven't smashed the watch into anything, So is this pretty much the normative for an AP bezel? Sure the average person probably wouldn't notice the small dings, but I sure do. I realize metal bezel will get damaged down the line, but didn't expect it so soon. My bracelet is still mint though.
Is it possible to install a clear case back on an ap that doesn't come with one from the factory? I'd like to see the movement, love the finishing. Clearly I would keep the original back just in case. Or.... Would I be crucified before I could get it installed?
