The military inspired pieces – reminiscent of airplane cockpit instrumentation and early mil watches – are available in a time (with seconds) only or a multi-function version. ?The movement inside of each is a Seiko Instruments quartz movement, specifically the VD78.A quick look at the specs reveal a very moderate 38mm size with 20mm lugs and a mineral crystal. Water resistance is shallow at 50M, which is logical for a watch with pilot-styling. The watch has a number of options for the strap at purchase: NATO, canvas or cowhide leather options are available for each model. What happened guys? Are all our watches run down? Do we need to wind them all? Or replace the batteries? Or swing are arms around to get the rotor spinning?It's been too quiet around here lately. Old watches with newly discovered boxes
These are my Grandfather's watches. I have posted pics of these watches before, but a few days ago , when my father was taking out some old suitcases, he discovered the boxes and the old, now non-functioning bracelet. AP 15400 questions
Hey guys, thinking of getting an AP 15400 at some point. A couple questions:1. How does the AP service cost for a date only watch like the 15400 compare to a Rolex Sub, for example? 2. Are the service intervals pretty much the same as Rolex? ( i.e. 5 years or so?)3. How have you found the 3120 movement to be? How reliable and accurate compared to the equivalent. ( i.e 3135)thanks
