Omega 123.25.27.60.63.002 wrist watches news:
At SIHH in Geneva, Baume & Mercier presented its redesigned Classima collection. Targeted at entry-level consumers, the Classima line includes men’s steel and two-tone automatic models. The Classima collection’s new watches are 3-hand models with date display. They are built off of a Sellita SW200 base caliber, similar to the ETA 2824. It beats at 28,800 vph and how a power reserve of 38 hours. It runs in 26 jewels. The men’s Classima is 40 mm in diameter and 8.95 mm thick. It has blued steel hands for the hour, minutes and seconds. Applied hour indexes include Roman numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. A date window is at 3 o’clock. One of the defining aesthetic features of the watch is its inner dial, where the silver-colored opaline is engraved with a straight-line guilloch¨¦ design. This guilloch¨¦ technique has been used on the dials of past Classima watches, but the new models broaden the ridges for a more reserved look.Through the sapphire-crystal cas
Hi, this is my first post, hope someone can help.I was given a couple of watches that used to belong to my grandfather, who passed away a number of years ago. They appear to be Omega watches purchased in Hong Kong, circa 1951 or 61 (the sales receipt is obscured on the year). I can't see any serial number or maker's marks on the cases, but I have a "Rating Certificate" for "Wrist Chronometer No. 11643633 Calibre 30.10 kg" that was in the same box.One watch appears to be almost mint - original leather band, no scratches. The other is just the watch with the buckle from the band, plus what looks to be an inexpensive after-market leather band. I was wondering if someone could provide insight into the watches, the history and possible value (if any). I've attached some images:IMG_4206s_resize.jpgIMG_4209s_resize.jpgIMG_4211s_resize.jpgIMG_4212s_resize.jpgIMG_4214s_resize.jpgThanks!
Thank you everyone on this forum, who has helped to influence my decisions. Back from deployment hence the absence from the site. After deciding to buy an Omega PO and doing some very quick research. I let my wife know what I wanted, she agreed. So then went on the hunt for an Ad who could make the deal sweeter. Found the AD and they made the deal sweet enough, however I missed the mail for the day. Being an impatient WIS, I then decided to take a drive and collect my new workhorse in person. I tried on the 45.5mm and it took up my whole wrist, so then decided to stick with the 42.5. Tried the orange bezel, but decided against it, then tried the orange markers with black bezel. Again it somehow just did not look right. So in the end being conservative stuck to black on white markers.Sized up perfectly. I always thought that my GMT IIc TT sat perfectly. But the PO sits in the flat on my wrist with minimal movement. A nice heft to it similar to a gold daytona. So here are some

Hello everyone. I thought I'd post a pic of a tough decision I'm required to make each day. I really like subs, but my new GMT is taking time away from them. Does anyone else have a mostly Sub/GMT collection?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
