Bulgari introduced three new models in its iconic Bulgari Bulgari men’s watch collection at Baselworld 2013, including the line’s first chronograph and tourbillon timepieces. Each new watch contains a manufacture movement crafted in Bulgari’s ateliers in La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Sentier, Switzerland. The Bulgari Bulgari made its debut in 1977, on the heels of the runaway success of the limited-edition Bulgari Roma, a digital watch that was given as a Christmas gift to Bulgari’s top 100 clients a few years earlier, in 1975, and that of another limited edition, issued in 1976, that was available only at the Bulgari boutique in Rome. (Bulgari has released a new, limited mechanical version of the Bulgari Roma, as part of the 2013 collection.)The inspiration for both the original Roma and the first Bulgari Bulgari was an ancient Roman coin on which the effigy of the emperor was encircled by engraved inscriptions. i have a rolex date just stainlessteel/18krt gold. the watch was a gift from my dad n 1982...i never wore it very much, i was very concious of the sticker price, especially living in suriname<south america> the watch was serviced some 8 years ago by buirette jewelers in cayenne , french guyana , who claims to be a certified rolex dealer/watch repair.the price...750€< euro, NOT us$$> disaster!! the watch runs fast< every week 5 minutes, the date changes at 5past 12, and the markers and hands are not luminous anymore. of course the jeweler denied all wrongdoing . and if i want it running on time again i wll have to pay at least 750us$ to have it serviced in the usa. so for years now the watch is in my vault in its box with papers. i dont want to see it anymore. i became a watch fanatic and i own now a hamilton ventura <automatic skeleton> a hamilton flight 2 < quartz goldplated> a diamond faconnable mezaluna and a bulova innsbruck diamond bezel, and a mo

I know that 2 years between purchases is a like decade on TRF. These past two years have given the opportunity to really enjoy my GMT IIc. I have come to appreciate how versatile it is. I was really happy with my one watch but I have been meaning to get another watch. I have put a lot of mileage on my GMT. It made a lot of sense to go with the sub for me. It was pretty much a toss up between the sub and GMT when I was deciding to get my first watch. For the second watch, I was going back and forth between the LV and the LB. After trying them both on, I realize that I am not ready for gold just yet. Of course just my luck the LV is a hot item but the AD came through within a month. So here finally, I have a duo! There is room for another watch but it will take probably take another 2 years. I just need the Daytona to complete my trio - land, air, and sea. 3 is the magic number since I have 3 kids. 4 would be the magic number if I had 2 kids!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
