So the 10 year anniversary for the 5130 is 2016 which was a good run considering how short the 5110 was. The 5575 was a huge hit - in fact many of us mere mortals couldn't even get on a waiting list. So wouldn't it be fantastic for PP to pitch us a 5575 non anniversary WT for 2016? They probably cant launch a black dial as this will really hurt the 5575 resale which is already softening but maybe there is a space for a dark blue / indigo like on the 5524 or a blue like on the 6000. The 5130G -019 retailed at around GBP 29000 and the 5575 at GBP 37 740.00. So in order not to depreciate us poor new 5130 owners my guess is that they will pitch the price between the two and add an additional complication to justify the price as we all know gold has fallen through the floor but prices haven't come down for watches. So its good news for us WT lovers, we either get a new model in 2016 or the 5575 may come down to more realistic levels.

As we slide into 2018, I¡¯m pondering my next watch purchase. Do I stick with Rolex/Tudor, or venture into another brand? A few things I know..... I want a sport watch, I do not want a hulk (ordered it....green was a no go.....ad sold to another guy), and I¡¯d prefer it not cost a fortune. Some of you know that a big part of my watch selections revolve around the whims of my little girls, which makes things pretty fun, and generally they have great taste. But at this point color tends to be the deciding factor with the youngest digging blue and the oldest a purple fan..... my current collection includes a BLNR (which is just about the perfect watch in my eye) and BBN as I sold off my EXPII last summer and haven¡¯t looked back. But I do need a replacement..... so considering the following........A. 16710 Pepsi (oldest loves it but wears small to me)B. Moonwatch + Red Grape OPC. Pelagos LB + Red Grape OP (but would I wear the OP or just placating a little girl? Hmm..)D. Either of the above
