Dear All,I have a few simple questions about the Citizen A660 movement which I seem to be unable to answer by looking in the web, I think some of you have the Chronomaster (is it MINIDriver?) which uses that movement so you probably are able to answer.(1.) Is it possible to have the battery changed at every Citizen dealer worldwide or is it necessary to send the watch to Japan to have it done?(2.) Is it a vacuum sealed movement as I read (am I right?) are the GS high precision movements?(3.) How often is it supposed to be serviced?Thanks in advance to everyone?GLF
Survived Irene - what a ton of water! Wasn't sure I'd be able to get to work today as every bridge was closed on my route as of yesterday.I'm wearing this Essex today. I got it a while back as a spare movement. Used it to fix another watch. Since yesterday's weather was so bad I just hung out in my shop and cleaned stuff up. I managed to cobble together a working 980 from a bunch of parts and voila!The back of this case is worn through - otherwise I'd be tempted to refinish the dial.
Do any of you own a buffalo strap? I've heard they're very supple and comfortable. Are they? And how durable are they? Post a picture and/or comments.Thanks!
I've had my eye on the 5164 for a few months now and I'm delighted to finally get one. It's always been one of my most favourite dials, I love the globe within a globe motif and the sunburst anthracite colour, don't know why Patek call this a black dial. Hope you enjoy the pics.
