I've never been one for starting incoming threads days in advance of getting the watch but on Thursday this week I will be buying my first Patek. I got the call from the Salon on Friday last week and this is the most excited I've been about a watch in an awful long time. Just wanted to share a new strap that is a bit unusual. Its a Panerai Luminor Vintage strap in black. Its a calf skin strap but has a bit of a rough texture to it but is very playable.. Its tough to get a good pic to capture the color but it is a distresst black with underlining shades of brown. Very rustic Italian look.
