The movement is an ETA 2804 and while I wind my automatics between wearings, today I wound the first mechanical since about 1975, my last mechanical, a 17 jewel model made by . . . . . . . . Hi All,Been a long time since i have posted a thread so its good to be back. In all fairness i forgot my credentials for a brief period but I'm all good now. Been pondering parting with my savings over a new watch but this thread isn't to choose but more to see if you good folk agree. The two watch are the Black face Omega Seamster and the Tudor black Bay with a Burgundy Bezel. Some may not see a choice at all putting the new freshly branded Tudor up against the Omega but with a similar price point i investigated. A few of my friends have recently bought an Omega which led me to look elsewhere not too follow the crowd etc etc and i liked the look of the Black bay as i haven't the funds to purchase a rolex and you don't see too many around( at the moment).I popped into the Jewellers today to try them both on and have a closer look and i must say i was very disappointed with the Tudor. Hi all! I'm looking for some advice on how to go about changing my Omega Aqua Terra from its current bracelet to a strap I just received. I have the appropriate Bergeon tool, but I can't get the pins to release from the case. I have done strap changes on a couple of watches before, but this Omega is giving me a hard time. I watched Bond's tutorial (thanks Dennis), but that shows him utilizing the pliers, not the single tool.So, any advice, or do I have to get the pliers for my birthday?
I picked up a PAM392 about 2 weeks ago. After 2 weeks of wear, I noticed that the bezel is getting scratched up pretty good. Nothing deep, just a lot of light scratches, noticeable enough for me to be annoyed/worried. My questions:Is this common? Anything I should do to fix/avoid?
