glad to be here! The other shopping channel was selling this brand for a couple of hours. They had a couple of new models and a few solid gold pieces that looked cool. The size of these watches are the more traditonal 38 or 40mm and the price for the gold was 4 or 5 grand, so those two factors prevent me from considering them. But has anyone taken the plunge with this brand recently or would you? Do people even know about this brand? It is "pure" Swiss for those who care about such things. Or would those of you who have this kinda dough prefer to stick with Rolex and the rest of the usual suspects?

Happy Monday all. Forgive me if this has been covered in the past but I¡¯m wondering if anyone can shed some light regarding non AD purchases. Between the wife and I, we have purchased 8 Rolex time pieces and all have been through ¡°Authorized Dealers¡±. I¡¯m in the market for another watch, and I see one can save considerable money if bought on the gray market. My main concern is warranty (I hear conflicting info), and also, I¡¯ve been told (by an AD by the way) that if Rolex knows you bought a watch at a discount, and it goes in for service, they will add charge you the difference.
