I have watches because I want to wear them, and I am trying to get a watch to go with most sorts of scenarios and activities. A buddy of mine who used to work for my dept, but went to a neighboring dept, recently broke his ankle in a foot pursuit. Looks like he may be out many months. Since he's on crutches he's unable to do any yardwork. He lives on about 1 acre with many, many trees. Knowing his leaf problem I organized a clean up day today at his house. About six of us showed up and after about 5 hours of work we have his place all shaped up. A supervisor of his asked if I still collected firearms. I responded that I'm more into vintage watches. He asked about what age, and if they needed to be running. He also asked what shift I'm working. Hmmmmmm.....I wonder if there may be another watch in my future, or maybe he has something he wants me to look at.....
