Post whatever you are dreaming about....Not mine pictured (pic from a Google search, GO promo pics to the "press'), I am currently in love with this model, ever since seeing it at the Venetian Las Vegas Watch store back in August. It overtook the GO Senator Navigator with date that I originally had on my 'wish list'.
I got home from work today and there was a package on my deck,so I brought it in and got my camera to get some shots of it:I was so excited to see the Orange Monster in person:The packaging was very well done and there was a brand new Seiko box inside,I opened it up and there it was:A brand new Seiko Diver,wrapped up very nicely in plastic,so I carefully removed it to take a few more shots:What a beautiful watch,I'm usually not into orange dials,but the dial on this one really fits the style.This is one mean looking watch.The fit and finish is flawless as expected for a Seiko and the lume compares to my Omega Seamaster,very bright.The bezel turns really smooth,it has a very precision feel to it.My first impression of this diver gets two big thumbs up I'll share my thoughts after a week or so to give a final review of it.I'm sure this is old hat to most of you guys,but this is my first Seiko diver,so I'm kind of excited a couple more pixs:
Hi all. So after consultation with this forum whether I should flip my hublot ice bang for a dsotm the overwhelming majority voted for the flip. This happened today! This watch is something else. I have had some nice pieces but this feels genuinely special. Omega have done a great job and I think this is an important watch for the brand. Achingly cool and contemporary and somewhat still true to the essence of the speedmaster. My only issue is the strap. I think it would elevate the watch futher on a leather strap. Guys,Ive owned my Speedmaster Pro Moon Watch for 10 yrs. I recently read an article in a old Watch Time magazine comparing it to the new co-axial SM. I was surprised to see they scored the accuracy rates very low for the SMP. I understand the 1861 isn't CSOC. Have the rates for the 1861 always been this way? Just curious. It shares wrist time with my 16750. Both watches are great time pieces IMHO.
Hi folks. First time poster here . I read a bunch of different threads with people describing their experiences purchasing in Europe and the lack of stock, but I was wondering if anyone has any recent experience buying or seeing stock of SS sports models (SubC, BLNR, or Daytona) at either the CDG airport, or Paris city in general. I'm living in NYC so the ~12% reimbursement in the VAT makes all the difference in comparing against NYC prices/taxes. Thanks in advance!
