For 2011 Rolex offers a new Explorer 2 to follow up last year's new Explorer. Contrast on the dial on both models remains excellent, with the signature large orange GMT hand remaining on the dial. Both dials feature "Chromalight" luminant. The hands are all in white gold. I'm a vintage Rolex guy and I'm reaching out to you with the ever-popular my buddy has a watch and wants to know if it's real thread.I know a few tricks to attempt to authenticate with the two attached pics, but I flat-out struck out...I can't even find any with reference to this limited edition batch (supposedly he has 99 out of 200).
