So i'm on my 2nd Rolex. My first was an 06 SS/Black Sub that I had no problems with. Recently I sold it back and upgraded to an 08 Two Tone/Black Sub. The first day I wore it, I noticed that the date would not change correctly. The date would only go half way at midnight and not complete its transition until 3 AM. I took the watch back to the store and they replaced it with another one. We checked it before I left the store and the date would switch over correctly at midnight.I wore the watch for 2 weeks straight before I locked it up in my safe and switched back to my Breitling Navitimer. I wore the Breitling for a week and decided switch back to the Sub. When I took the Sub out of the safe and set the time and date, the DATE DID THE SAME THING AS THE PREVIOUS ONE! It would only click half way at midnight and then complete the date transition around 3 AM.Has this happened to anyone else?!?!? My original 06 Sub NEVER had this issue. Why does the Yacht Master have endlinks that protrude out of the case lugs unlike the other Rolex watches that have the endlinks flush?Can't think of a proper reason and I'm not sure I like the way it looks too. I dropped in to say hi and to leave a watch with him for a clean up.He knows I'm 'into' watches and grabbed a bag for me to look at - within was what I think was a PAM 250 (Daylight) but I'm not 100% sure because I'm positive the engraving on the caseback had a fish, but the Panerai website picture does not show one. It was on a Panerai stamped rubber strap with a Panerai engraved deployant. It felt solid and looked exceptionally well made (as I would expect from a Panerai). I have an opportunity to buy a brand new PAM 557 with a very good price, I had before the PAM 372, but the Crown Guard bather me a bit on the wrist due to case size, so its seems that this 557 is the perfect solution.I just want a have one Panerai Luminor, on my box. Other contenders are PAM 422 and PAM 233 (DOT Dial, K series). The PAM 557 is brand new and the 422 and 233 are used.Resale is very important to me as well, Any of these have better resale than the others ?Thanks
