I recently purchased an Illinois ROCKCLIFF with the Illinois 207 movement. The movement has a damaged barrell (drum) that holds the mainspring it is missing two teeth.Does anyone have an Illinois 207 parts movement or a spare mainspring barrell that they would like to sell. Hello Everyone. I'm new to this forum and would appreciate any information on this watch. I found it in a bag of watches given to me by my mother. It has been serviced and except for a new mainspring and strap is to the best of my knowledge completely original. . The movement is a 17 jewel caliber 1247T and the movement serial number is 3462220. Serial number on the case back is 33945xx. It is nearly as accurate as my Rolex and stays within COSC as long as I keep it dial up at night. Seems to be very sensitive to crown down placement with significant time loss. Have not been able to find out much about this specific watch anywhere on line so any information is great. Hope the pictures help. Look forward to hearing from all of you knowledgeable folks.

I'm considering a 15400 with the silver dial. Going to see one in person for the first time on Thursday at the Vegas boutique-- planned the trip in part around seeing that watch. I've already been in touch with a sales advisor at the boutique, and she knows what I'm interested in.What's the general sense of whether I'd be stuck paying MSRP or whether they'd give any consideration? I'd be a first-time AP customer and would absolutely be wearing it and not storing in a safe or flipping it. My only other major watch purchase was through a TS here (Thanh/AkaTakuya) and it was a flawless process at a great price.I'm curious whether there's much room to move at an AD. I've seen posts on here about other brands and models seeing as much as a 20-25% discount at ADs (on PM Rolex models, from what other users suggested) and the grey pricing is comparable to that pricing that those users reported. Appreciate any thoughts, insight, etc!
As many of you know, I just picked up my first AP and I've been enjoying it. Here are a few snap shots from this weekend. Saturday morning was spent taking my daughter to Disney on Ice. This was my view. My wife and the other families we went with had a great timeSaturday was date night with the wife. It's hard to get out on our own these days. We started the evening at a wine bar for drinks and appetizers.Next stop was dinner. We started with drinks and escargot.And ended the evening with a 36 ounce bone in cowboy ribeye tomahawk. I was awakened by my in laws the next morning for some Korean food. They never stop trying to feed me. Are they trying to kill me?!A couple of hours later, my wife and I head to one of our favorite Indian places...for more food. Now the fun begins. Maybe because we were in a food coma, we decided to go to the mall to do some shopping...On the last Sunday before Christmas. I ended up having a great time though.
