Janos and I had a meeting with folks at Henri Stern Watch Agency (Patek USA) at 10:30 AMIn one word - this visit was 'AMAZING" and I will dedicate a separate thread with many pictures dedicated to this event. In short - we were given a grand tour of 'every office' and repair room of HSWA by their regional sales manager - Mr. Kevin Unger.After a wonderful lunch to which we were treated by HSWA in a fine Manhattan steakhouse, I was also fortunate to meetthe PP USA president, then later hold in my hands some very rare watches......and was alsoable to play with and try on almost all new models introduced in Basel 2009. I found this Omega, and frankly I don't know if it is real.....why? well, it's the rhinestones, all around the outside edge but just inside the crystal.....looks like it is from the late 1960s, from the case appearance.....I have asked the guy to remove the back, and see what the movement says, but not everyone is capable of doing that, so I thought I'd throw it out to this forum ......so, did Omega ever make a Rhinestone model ????
Hi, about a month ago my 7 year old Seamaster started not autowinding. I took it to an authorized dealer (place where I bought) and they gave me an estimate of $840 for both necessary and optional repairs. Necessary repairs only around $450. Seven years ago I bought the watch $1800, a service chage for almost half the retail price. Is this normal?
Well guys I FINALLY got the watch/model that took me over 2 months to track down after it originally sold out quick. I will let the pics speak for themselves. The construction, attention to detail and overall F & F is top notch and I would put it up with the big boys. DEFINITELY grail worthy. IMHO, EDOX = WOW. What do you guys think
So a little before Christmas I posted a pic of almost the same watch for sale at Costco in Cumming GA. Now today I¡¯m at the one in Buford, GA and the price is jacked $1500 above the other one. Now the only diff. I see is the one above is the gold leafed dial.
