I did a brief post in the Omega forum about the Seamaster I saw, and here's a little bit more about my trip to Wildwood NJ today. My uncle has a neighbor who is selling off his watch collection. After a brief history lesson for him about how Vacheron & JLC sent 17j manual wind movements to the US to be cased in New York (at the Longines-Wittnauer plant), and how it saved them import taxes, and showing him the VXN on the balance cock, we moved on. Next he had a few Gruens that I passed on. Now came something I had to look at closer - a Colt auto from the mid 90's.
